Play Packs are all-in-one kits created by our museum educators to provide hands-on learning at home! Presented by GEICO Cares, each Play Pack contains multiple activities and easy-to-follow instructions. We provide the tools—your child’s creativity and imagination brings it to life! In addition to the main activities provided in your kit, we extend the fun by providing bonus activities, related videos, and exclusive content in our Play Pack Pals Facebook group.

Is your little astronaut ready to look to the skies, explore our universe, and discover what it takes to spend a day in space? We “launched” our Play Pack program with an Out of This World theme and exploring the mysteries of the universe.
This kit has everything your child needs for a cosmic adventure. As your child completes their missions, they will learn how to communicate ideas, gain motor coordination, express themselves through art, build problem solving skills, and more!

All activity materials are provided in the Play Pack box. The only additional item you may need is a scissors for select activities.
Play Packs are specifically designed to be fun for a wide range of ages. Most elementary-aged children will find success with their kits. We recommend adult supervision and support for children under the age of 6. Ages 7 and up can explore independently!

Purchasing a Play Pack is an excellent use for your digital gift card! Use the links above (“Purchasing with an ICM electronic gift card? Click here!“) to find the Play Pack theme you wish to purchase in our membership portal.
Once you have placed the Play Pack in your cart, click “checkout” and use the 12-digit gift card code as a form of payment. Choose “gift card” as your form of payment at the top of the checkout page (represented by a picture of a gold card with a red bow). Do not enter it in the discount code box.
Your gift card code was included in the confirmation email you received upon purchasing an electronic gift card. If you have misplaced this code, contact amussman@theicm.org to confirm.
