Adult and youth volunteer opportunities are available to accommodate a wide variety of interests and availabilities! Volunteers must be at least 14 years old and pass a criminal record review.

In addition to the opportunities listed below, we also welcome community members to get involved with our mission at a higher level through board and committee participation.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer PLAYologist

Volunteer PLAYologists work and play “on the floor” of our museum and in our exhibit spaces. Responsibilities include interacting with children and their grown-ups, assisting with the upkeep and cleaning of the museum exhibits, and facilitating special programs. While volunteering at the museum, you will gain experience working in an informal learning environment, have the opportunity to work with a fun, energetic staff, and experience the power of PLAY!

Special Event Volunteers

Sign up to help with STEM Family Free Night, Sensory Friendly Nights, special Celebration Days, and fundraisers. Volunteer opportunities are available in the museum and at off-site locations.

Museum Deep Cleaning

These volunteers help keep our facility clean, sanitized, and ready for guests!
