Big News: The ICM Announces New Executive Director!
The Iowa Children’s Museum is proud to announce Jeff Capps as our new Executive Director. Capps succeeds Deb Dunkhase, who is retiring in January 2019 after leading, inspiring, and growing The ICM for 21 years.
Capps is an accomplished leader in the nonprofit sector and holds a degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He’s joining The ICM after a ten-year tenure as Executive Director of Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity. Arriving shortly after the devastating floods of 2008, Capps helped build Habitat into a strong organization and anchor of the Cedar Rapids community. He begins with The ICM in January.
