ICM for Everyone

The Iowa Children’s Museum (ICM) is dedicated to providing quality active learning opportunities to ALL children, regardless of their ability to pay. In addition to free events throughout the year, we offer opportunities for children and families to play in our space when they otherwise could not afford to do so.

Free Museum Admission

Museum visitors who participate in SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, Hawk-I, or Head Start programs can play in the museum free of charge during normal open hours. Please just let our friendly PLAYologists know that you qualify for free museum admission when you arrive. Click here to view all museums that offer reduced admission as part of the Museums for All program!

This pricing is available for everyone in the household covered by the qualifying program. The Iowa Children’s Museum reserves the right to ask for proof of your participation in the qualifying public assistance program.
