Creativity looks different every month in the Art Studio! These drop-in experiences invite kids and families to explore different artistic materials, experiment with new techniques, and create together through hands-on play. In addition to all of the art supplies you’ll typically find in our Art Studio, check out featured materials, collaborative projects, and artist-inspired activities.

August Theme: Collage Creations

Cut, layer, mix, and reimagine during a month focused on collage art! The studio will be filled with colorful paper, vintage magazines, maps, paint swatches, stickers, stamps, and other found materials perfect for creating one-of-a-kind artwork. Featured activities include playful Dada-inspired portraits and collage projects influenced by artists Della Wells and Reginald Laurent.
