Your Mission: Discover Space with The Iowa Children’s Museum!
The Iowa Children’s Museum, in partnership with NASA and the Iowa Space Grant Consortium, is bringing Space Stations, a hands-on space exploration program, to libraries across the area. This free program will introduce children to scientific concepts through fun and engaging activities, inspiring the next generation of explorers and creators.
What is Space Stations?
Space Stations is an interactive educational program where kids can:
- Build a spacecraft and design its mission.
- Create a Moon Base Camp using various building materials.
- Explore how telescopes like the James Webb capture images.
- Discover how scientists study the Moon and distant galaxies.
Through hands-on activities, kids will learn about space exploration, engineering, and the tools scientists use to explore the universe.
This program is designed for elementary-aged learners. All are welcome!
