Join The Iowa Children’s Museum for a special Welcoming Week celebration featuring games, activities, and traditions from cultures around the globe.

From 3–6 p.m., admission to the museum is free for everyone. As families explore the exhibits, kids can complete a special Passport to Play by stopping at activities throughout the museum and discovering different ways people play, create, and connect.

This event is also a chance to learn more about the museum’s Sharing Culture Through Play initiative. Through this program, we work alongside local cultural organizations, educators, and community members to create more opportunities for families to experience and celebrate the cultures that make our community special. These collaborations bring new opportunities for families to learn and play together, both at the museum and throughout our community.
