We are creators of cheer, technicians of tomfoolery, and scholars of all things silly! As the experts in fun, we love to help kids imagine, create, discover and explore—in the museum and out in the community.
Our PLAYologists all participate in a self-reflection exercise and think about how they play while on the floor of the museum. Are they silly, curious, boisterous, creative, focused? Once they have thought about their play style, our PLAYologists create their “Play Alter Ego”. Their Play Alter Ego is a character that represents how they play, complete with costumes, accessories and an awesome name! The PLAYologists wear a button with the name of their Play Alter Ego to spark questions and playful interactions. Ask us about them next time you come play!
