Thank you for thinking of The Iowa Children’s Museum for your upcoming fundraising event! We receive a high volume of requests for donations each month. As a non-profit organization, we are limited in the number of requests we can fulfill. Please review our guidelines below to determine if your organization is eligible to receive a donation.
Eligible Organizations: Non-profit organizations with a 501(c)3 designation and organizations that directly benefit children
Ineligible Organizations: Examples of organizations that would not qualify for a charitable donation include for-profit organizations, employee incentive giveaways and awards, second-generation requests (for-profit organizations or individuals raising money for another group), and events benefiting a single person or family

We only consider donation requests submitted through the form below. Submissions received through the mail, social media, or other communication channels will not be considered.
Donation requests are reviewed monthly. We have a limited number of donations available each month, which are distributed on a first-come, first serve basis.
Organizations may only receive one donation per calendar year.
We respectfully request that you do not follow up on the status of your donation request via email or phone call.
If your organization is eligible, please complete the form below. All donation requests must be submitted at least six weeks before your event date to be considered. Donation requests submitted within six weeks of the event date will not be considered.

The Iowa Children’s Museum will be closed Monday, August 25th, through Friday, August 29th, for routine cleaning and maintenance. This includes STEM Family Free Night. Thank you for your patience while we work to make our exhibits even better for your next visit!
