Ready to Launch: Artemis II Activities

NASA is preparing to send astronauts farther from Earth than we’ve gone in more than 50 years—and we’re bringing that excitement into the museum.
Stop by Take Flight! between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to explore the Artemis II mission and how four astronauts will travel through space. This first crewed test flight will help NASA prepare for future missions by testing systems and learning what it takes to send humans farther than ever before.
Kids can map out the spacecraft’s journey, try a hands-on matching game, and design their own space mission alongside Astronaut Pete.
