2025 Iowa Children’s Open Recap

The Iowa Children’s Museum wrapped up another unforgettable day with the 2025 Iowa Children’s Open, held this year at Finkbine Golf Course. With perfect weather, a full course of enthusiastic golfers, and generous community support, we’re excited to share that this year’s event raised $45,000 to support hands-on learning and play for children in our community.

A Fun-Filled Day at Finkbine

From the opening swing to the final putt, this year’s event was on par! Golfers enjoyed a delicious breakfast, awesome tee gifts, activities on almost every hole, mid-round lunch and drinks, and plenty of chances to take home additional prizes, including a new car and $10,000 cash. In addition to the friendly competition, guests were able to bid on exclusive Hawkeye memorabilia, golf getaways, and more during our auctions—all in support of The Iowa Children’s Museum’s mission.
