What an unforgettable evening we had at the 2025 Celebrate Play Gala! The night was filled with so many moments that reminded us why we believe in the Power of Play.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the enthusiasm of nearly 300 attendees, this year’s event surpassed our fundraising goal—raising over $100,000 in support of our mission! From the first round of games to the celebratory champagne toasts at the end, the spirit of giving in the room was amazing.
Guests enjoyed playful activities throughout the night, taking home a variety of prizes from the jewelry tree, grand prize game, punch-a-prize, and more. This year’s bubble theme also came to life with photo ops, specialty drinks at the “bubble bar,” and plenty of celebratory bottles of “bubbly” for tables to enjoy. Live and silent auctions gave guests a chance to bid on items and experiences they couldn’t find anywhere else (including vacations, works of art, and even a Homer Herky).
These moments of fun were more than just entertainment—they helped fuel our work and bring more playful learning experiences to children throughout our community.
We also took time to celebrate those who go above and beyond for kids in our community by announcing the 2025 Robert E. Yager Active Learning Award recipients: Bennett Brown, Lisa Holland, Maureen Dolan, and Nicole Upchurch. Congratulations to these truly outstanding educators!
