We’re thrilled to welcome: \n\n\n\n \nKevin Burt\n \nBlake Shaw\n \nThe Swampland Jewels\n\n\n\nBetween sets\, enjoy pop-up performances from Young Footliters Youth Theatre\, Champagne Irish Dance Academy\, and museum staff who are ready to keep the fun going from start to finish. \n  \nActivities\, Games\, and Play\n\nFamilies can move\, create\, and play at a variety of interactive stations hosted by: \n\nThe Iowa Children’s Museum\nWest Music\nCoralville Public Library Book Bike\nChampagne Academy of Irish Dance\nYoung Footliters\nGirl Scouts\n\nWhether it’s strumming a ukulele\, building with museum materials\, or dancing your heart out\, there’s something here to spark every child’s imagination. \n  \nDiscover the New Book Walk\n\nThis event celebrates the opening of North Ridge Park’s new Book Walk\, a permanent outdoor installation that combines reading and nature. Created in partnership with The Iowa Children’s Museum\, Coralville Public Library\, and Coralville Parks & Recreation\, the Book Walk is a playful way to encourage early literacy in a beautiful outdoor setting. This project also had special support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the Boston Children’s Museum. \nLocal Food & Drink\nNo festival is complete without snacks! Grab a bite from Stone Wall Pizza or sip on something tasty from Timber Grove Coffee Co. while you enjoy the festivities. \nEvent Map\n \nParking\nParking is available at Community of Christ (right next to the park) or in the Coral Ridge Mall lot near Best Buy (it’s just a 5-minute walk along the walking path that runs next to Coral Ridge Mall and under Interstate 80 to get to the park) \nKicking Off a Summer of PLAY!\nThis event kicks off a summer of free\, outdoor programs from The Iowa Children’s Museum! Every summer\, ICM2Go brings hands-on activities to parks throughout the Corridor. This year\, all ICM2Go events in Coralville will take place at North Ridge Park\, a fantastic outdoor space just a short walk from the museum. From music to movement to magical story moments\, we invite you to PLAY in the Park with us as we welcome warmer days!
