Troop ICM Workshops are designed to fulfill requirements for Girl Scout Brownie Try-Its and Junior Badges. Each participant will receive a certificate verifying the completion of a specific badge or try-it activity.

Each two-hour workshop costs $8 per participant. Chaperones are free, and one chaperone for every five participants is required. All day museum admission is included in the cost of the workshop for each child participant!

Creating with Clay - offered March 8 and March 29, 2008
Learn all about clay and its sculpting properties in a workshop filled with fun! Participants practice basic techniques as they create coil pots and freeform sculptures, paint ceramic tiles, and make their own handmade clay to take home!

Printmaking - offered April 12 and April 26, 2008
Release your inner artist with a variety of printmaking techniques, including crayon rubbings, relief printing, stamping, Goyataku prints, linoleum block printing, and 'junk' printing using an array of diverse materials.

Weather Watch - offered November 10, 2007 and May 24, 2008
Explore the exciting science concepts of weather by recreating naturally occurring events, such as rock formation, erosion, evaporation, eclipses, and cloud formations. Participants learn about the long lasting effects of weather on our planet.

Lights! Camera! Action! - offered January 12 and January 26, 2008
Easy drama activities designed to help participants become accustomed to performing in front of groups delight participants of all ages. Learn warm-up activities and vocal exercises, write scripts, rehearse short plays, design costumes, perform on stage, and explore creative expression through drama and play!

Puppets & Plays - offered February 9 and February 23, 2008
Puppets are a great vehicle for creative expression! Participants learn about different styles of puppetmaking from around the world! In small groups, they write scripts for a play, create puppets, design props, rehearse, and perform their puppet show for an audience!
