Join us as we commemorate National Train Day and celebrate in the best way possible in our train exhibit All Aboard! Learn why trains are so important in our daily lives and construct your own railroad! Darren Ferreter, designer and builder of the Iowa Children's Museum Model Railroad display, will be on hand from 11am-3pm to answer questions about real or model trains for guests of all ages. Bring your troubled model train to the ICM and Darren will be happy to diagnose and suggest possible repair solutions. He will be the one in the Railway Conductors Uniform. Toot! Toot! |
